The Robcast Podcast
Rob Bell is the host of The Robcast podcast. He recently completed a brilliant and impactful 5-part series on his podcast which he dubbed “Alternative Wisdom”.
In this multi-part series, Rob identifies and discusses issues that have persisted and swirled around in my head for years. Issues like insecurities, not feeling worthy enough, and wondering what life is all about.
Rob has a warm and casual way of taking all these pressing topics of the human experience, laying them out on an examining table, and offering up bits of wisdom that allow for a whole new perspective to arise in relation to these common and shared struggles. Read More
The Power Of Meditation
Inroads To The Mainstream
Meditation, or the general practice of mindfulness, seems to be slowly making inroads into the collective consciousness of the mainstream.
Just about anywhere you turn these days you seem to run into an article, podcast discussion, or some sort of social site mention about the benefits of meditation.
I understand the desire of those who practice meditation to want to share with the world the benefits they have been experiencing, but in the past, I have found myself a little hesitant to bring up the subject amongst my peers.

The Joe Rogan Experience With Guest Kyle Kingsbury
I have a limited interest in MMA. I have respect for the fighters and I have certainly been entertained when I have spent any time watching it, but it does not maintain my interest like pro football does, which borderlines on a slight obsession for me.
When I came across Kyle Kingsbury’s first appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast I almost passed over it, based on Kyle being a retired MMA fighter, however, I reminded myself to never judge any Joe Rogan guest by their profession or interest. Joe’s shows are free to flow anywhere and the topics of the conversations are never constrained by the callings of his guests.
This was particularly the case with Kyle Kingsbury’s initial appearance on the show. They covered a variety of topics like dietary strategy, peak performance, and fulfillment in life. I was intrigued the entire time they talked and finished watching the whole episode. Read More
A Spiritual Quest
I am hesitant in writing anything about spirituality for fear that my thoughts could get wrongfully conflated with reverence for organized religion.
Much about organized religion sends me running for cover. I do recognize and appreciate it does bring some peace and comfort into the lives of some people.
Unfortunately, even the solace it brings to some can at times be draped in the type of detrimental dogma that ultimately provides a net loss for society as a whole.
All that being said, I am on a spiritual quest. Make no mistake about it. Read More
